Here is another hot one from Meta Maestro. I finally was able to befriend the Allhiphop myspace profile and got the link to the remix album. This joint is pretty hot. It’s one of those songs where I love raising the volume as much as I can without destroying my ears because it bangs so much! After 10 or so listens you may get tired of the song, but the initial bang is worth it. Check it out. Gets 3 stars from me.

Just discovered this producer. There is another remix of his I want to post, but I can’t get it till I am a friend on the myspace of this mixtape page. It is “Blue Magic” by Jay-Z and is seriously hot! But for now, here is an equally hot remix of “Diamond Girl”. It is well produced and is as rnb as a song can get. Not sure about Ryan’s cheesy raps near the end, but props to Meta Maestro for adding his flavour. I give this one 3 stars, hmmm actually 5 stars for Maestro’s work, and 1 star for Ryan Leslies raps lol.

Thanks to google I managed to find an mp3 of this remix, which I guess is now a little dated, but a great remix none the less. The Black Kids are a pop indie band from America and The Twelves are an electro-dance duo from Rio De Janeiro. This remix in my opinion smashes the original, I know I am biased towards thumping drums and synth basses but check it out for yourself and let me know what you think! I give this one 5 stars!

Been quiet on the upload for a bit as I am stuck in exams at University. But here is a hot dance/electro remix to a band I had never heard of called B52’s. Check out the original on youtube if you wish, but this one is a lot better in my opinion. You have that phat phat bass, and a similar sound to what JUSTICE have in some parts. Overall, a dope remix. I would give it 4 stars but the remixer took out a lot of the vocals, which in the original were actually good. So I give it 3 stars!

Here is another hot track off the Midas Touch Jay-Z remix album. This one has a similar feel to the original (sparse sounds). One thing to note is that the vocals Pharrell did on the original did not make it on to this one. Would have been interesting to see how those sounded on the new beat. I give it 3 stars!

Been quiet for a few days but here is a remix from 5G Productions’ J.J. Brown. It takes samples from “Pride and Joy” by the Jackson 5 to give it that East Coast feel. I like the original in a different way to this one. Apples and Oranges? Got the Neptunes synth version, and organic version of J.J. Brown. I’ll take both. I give this one 3 stars.
